Our team consists of highly qualified and motivated professionals, who are all experts in their field. With many years of experience in social enterprise, they have the expertise to provide a range of support services that will help leaders work together collaboratively.

Dr Charles Jardine
Chief Executive Officer & Co-Founder

Charles works as an accountant, management consultant, researcher and university lecturer. He is a committed Christian and lay preacher in his local CofE church, married with 3 children. His passion is to develop high performing, investable and scalable Christian social action, following a request from government ministers and latterly informed by doctoral research into this vital and growing field. An advocate of social justice, Charles has held senior positions in Christian and secular organisations committed to societal improvement. Developing effective missions in the UK and around the world has included Samaritan’s Purse, CSW, Salvation Army, Diocese of Chichester, Scarman Trust, RNID, CAN and Depts of Health & Education.

Rebecca Hodge
Executive Officer & Co-Founder

Rebecca is a Therapeutic Counsellor (Dip. Couns) BACP Reg. at Kingsway Counselling. Prior to private practice at Crossline Christian Counselling and Eastgate Church. Previously working in administration and management, corporate and Christian, including CofE. More recently, Operations Manager for a charity working with those vulnerable, experiencing homelessness, addiction and mental health problems. Christian ministries include Bethel Sozo and Restoring the Foundations. She served on mission with Iris Ministries Mozambique, Revival Fires India, prophetic ministry Moravian Falls, prison visiting, Alpha, homeless hostel and a Street Pastor. Rebecca is passionate for people to find freedom and healing, for equipping and mobilising a united church.

Dr Charles Jardine
Chair of Trustees

Charles became Chair of Trustees following Sandy Medway stepping down from the Board in October 2023. 

We thank Sandy for her extensive experience and valued contribution to Graceway over the last few years and are pleased to retain her contribution in a supportive capacity. 

Revd Edwin Pena
Trustee (Treasurer)

Edwin Peña is a full time Baptist Minister at Pevensey Bay in East Sussex. Edwin is married with two children. His passion is working for God’s kingdom promoting its values in the community, also supporting Christian organizations committed to preaching, teaching and promoting justice, righteousness and peace around the world and training ministers in these subjects. Edwin’s heart passion is helping the neediest people in our society and developing a theological approach that helps churches to understand God’s heart for the poor.

Amando Brown
Trustee (Company Secretary)

Amando is an Executive Director in the West Midlands, delivering high-level educational strategies across a range of sectors. He spent over 14 years working in education and the past 8 years working alongside local authorities to support the most vulnerable young people with special educational needs. Founder and Executive Director of BESTuition Ltd, teaching children aged 5 to 18 years. Amando is also an Executive Coach, Business Consultant/Trainer and Therapeutic Foster Carer. Together with his wife of 26 years they have fostered some of the most vulnerable, complexed children, they have 2 grown up boys and a granddaughter. Amando serves in a pastoral role in his church in the UK and Canary Islands.
